Description:2X mono blocks and point one stereo pre amp with tone controls, rumble cut, stereo/reverse, aux tuner, tape phono inputs, comes with all original connections/cables. Offered as a 3 piece, they absolutely soar sounding amazing, decidedly modern, maybe born in the UK in 1958, but hot damn, its still rocking in 2010 TL-25 plus means more than 25w RMS in to 8 Ohms - testing reveals it's more 35w. Completely checked over, with many caps & resistors changed using new old stock at the manufacturers spec. - the power chords were also brought into the 21st century. All tubes are Mullard with 5-10 hours use. These are power amps only (one for each stereo speaker) but can be used stand alone as up-to-date RCA plugs have been installed, although the original 8-pin bakelite inter-connect from the Leak pre-amp has been retained. The fiddly metal speaker screws have been up-dated to Banana plugs for the speaker cables. They comply with modern safety standards with the bases covered with ventilated meshing. The technicians copy of the Service Manual is also included. A truly remarkable offering rarely seen in Australia............we'd venture to say they'd be the cream of the Leak range and probably of vintage amps generally. Our 3 month guarantee applies.
