Backed by a wonderful heritage, Bob Carver sold Phase Linear & his new company Carver Corporation was formed in 1979.
Phase Linear was renowned for their high powered amplifiers & the Carver Model C-500 follows on that tradition with an impressive 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms

Carver (& Phase Linear) amplifiers can be nortorious for blowing up speakers when they go "rogue" & output DC. So it can be very risky running these brands without any sort of protection.
However, our Electronics Engineer serviced both these units & added a modern protection unit to the power amp. If the amp has issues the protection circuit will prevent any bad stuff getting to your valuable speakers.
