This is a well engineered, note the stunning brushed stainless steel back plate, quality permoalloy heads, genuine timber veneer side panels semi professional model weighing in at a substantial 22kgs!
Features include 4 track 2 channel system, 4 heads, 3 motors, two speeds 7 1/2 ips & 3 3/4 ips with 10.5" and 7" reel capability
TEAC knew a thing or two about tape recorders and this model is one of their better ones.
Build quality of later models wasn't quite so good. Well regarded in it's day and it continues to be today. Especially if properly serviced.
